We are proud to announce that Terra Centuria Blend – High Phenolic Organic has been awarded the Best of Show High Phenolic title at the inaugural Al Ain Early Harvest International Olive Oil Competition, held during the Al Ain Heritage Festival in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The competition, organized in collaboration with Olio Nouveau Days and the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, brought together producers from 15 countries. Entries were evaluated by an international jury chaired by Christophe Lavelle, PhD (CNRS, Sorbonne University, National Museum of Natural History), assessing sensory quality, freshness, harmony, and typicity.
This recognition highlights the exceptional quality of our organic high polyphenol EVOO, crafted from early-harvested Istrian Belica and Leccino olives grown in Slovenian Istria. Our blend, with polyphenol levels ranging from 800 to 1,200 mg/kg, stood out among entries from across the globe — earning the highest distinction in the high phenolic category.
The Al Ain award joins Terra Centuria’s growing list of international accolades, including Best of Show High Phenolic at Olio Nouveau Days Paris (2025), Gold Standard of Excellence at the Olympia Health & Nutrition Awards (2024, 2025), and the Aristoleo Double Gold.
Each award reflects our cooperative’s commitment to producing olive oils that deliver real, measurable health benefits — backed by exceptionally high polyphenol content and sustainable organic farming in Slovenian Istria.
