Terra Centuria has been selected in the TOP 10 of the first Al Ain Early Harvest Olive Oil Competition in the Extra Virgin category, for its High Phenolic Organic Blend (Belica and Leccino).
In the official congratulatory note, the organizers highlighted “the strength of character” of the oil and the precision with which Belica and Leccino were interpreted, calling the work a meeting point of tradition, science, and excellence.
About the competition
The Al Ain Early Harvest Olive Oil Competition announced its first results on February 9, during the Al Ain Heritage Festival, organized by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority. The competition brought together producers from 15 countries, celebrating the excellence of early-harvest olive oils from diverse origins.
Samples were evaluated by an international jury chaired by Christophe Lavelle, PhD (CNRS, Sorbonne University, National Museum of Natural History), using criteria including sensory quality, freshness, harmony, and typicity.
